About me

From school I sought a career to develop my creative

talents within the graphics industry, and started as a

trainee with Parlour Wood. Displaying a good interest

and understanding of mac-based production I was soon

involved with the production of brochures (often multilingual)

and packaging for clients such as Ford, Sony

and London Underground.

From there I joined Glendale Graphics as a

Middleweight Graphic Artist where I remained for four

years, gaining solid all-round experience of the

administration and a extending his knowledge of prepress

and print.

Following this I was tempted to Keyboard Graphics in

1996 as a Senior Graphic Artist, where his

responsibilities involved complete production of project

artwork through to pre-press stage. Gaining experience

and a sound introduction of IT system management,

including networking system organisation time sheets,

systems and network trouble shooting, he also oversaw

any typography, scanning, image manipulation and

graphics creation in the department. Creation of large

format, digital, screen and traditional print planning

from concept to final print was a major part of the job

and he soon progressed to production manager,

designing and introducing a basic system for such a

purpose using Filemaker Ð highlighting his thorough

knowledge of all aspects in a production environment.

Head-hunted in 2002 by FWD, I have become highly

skilled within design, DTP, IT and management fields.
