"The Objects of Love" is a feature film inspired by real experiences, which takes as its starting point the study of female migration in the city of Rome. Production was preceded by a process of three-month investigation, where he scheduled a series of workshops to exchange experiences with migrant women (from Latin America, Eastern Europe and Africa), residents in three cities: Rome, Madrid and Germersheim.
In these workshops, various topics associated with the study of migration and the experience of being women and migrants in Europe were analyzed. concepts such as integration, culture shock, gender status, xenophobia, etc., and stories obtained, both written and filmed addressed constituted an extensive documentation that inspired part of the script of the film.
In a second phase of the project, actresses Laura Rojas (Colombia) and Nicole Diaz (Chile) and Italian producer Kimerafilm were incorporated. In an open casting RAER where other 10 actors and actresses Italians joined the cast was called.
