About me

Rhi Sanderson is a freelance children's book illustrator with a special interest in children's books, empathy, and the relationship between pictures and words. She was brought up with stories of Welsh folklore, myth and magic on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

Since graduating from Hereford College of Arts in 2015, she has illustrated her first picture book with Otter-Barry Books which won Best Picture Book in Oxfordshire 2019 and worked with clients: Fy, One Third Stories, Pop Up & Play Co, and Yorkshire Tea.

Rhi is currently studying for her MA in Illustration at University of Gloucestershire and taking on freelance work and collaborations.
