Working directly with Red Bull we were commissioned to produce the ultimate interactive flight experience for the Red Bull Air Race. The experience allows members of the public to sit directly in the pilots chair and experience the blistering pace and quick turns of an Air Racer. The experience is fully developed into a marketing stand, suitable for deployment at key events around the world.

Utilising the latest in Virtual Reality Headset technology and cutting edge real time graphics we created a fully immersive lap around the Ascot Air race track. To ensure an authentic experience the course was created using high resolution LIDAR data and satellite imagery. We also worked closely with Air Race champion Paul Bonhomme to ensure the flight path is as correct and as realistic as possible.

On the next leg of our 2015 Red Bull Air Race tour, Rewind was happy to support our VR activation in Chiba, Japan. For the first time members of the public can experience a flying lap around both Budapest and Spielberg Austria in the classic Edge 540 stunt plane. These new tracks were showcased via our own bespoke custom built hardware, providing a world first one box solution for VR activations.
