Concept
The focus of this commercial beauty project was to highlight warm, sunlit skin tones and authentic skin texture. The brief required precise post-production that emphasizes clean skin highlights and warm hair undertones without removing natural facial characteristics such as freckles.
Execution
Post-production was performed in Capture One and Adobe Photoshop:
- Applied non-destructive Dodge & Burn techniques to refine skin micro-contrast, smooth out local tonal transitions, and keep skin texture and natural freckles fully intact.
- Performed precise color grading to unify the golden-beige background, skin undertones, and copper hair hues into a cohesive warm palette.
- Executed hair flyaway cleanup and subtle edge alignment while preserving natural strand definition and specular highlights.
Results
Delivered high-resolution, color-calibrated master files suitable for beauty campaigns and digital e-commerce displays, maintaining high texture preservation and natural beauty standards.
