Over a period of 12 weeks I created a series of more than 35 wooden tile artworks using 6 x 6 inch wooden blocks. I added tissue paper, textured paper on top of the wooden tiles and then used acrylic paints to create the designs which were guided by the colours and the effects that were produced by the decoupaged papers. Each one has a specific message attached to it for the buyer or person who receives it.
