ABOUT

A commission for a veterinary reception.

They wanted something beautiful, peaceful and bright to have in their hallway by the windows, so I wanted to make sure to include a lot of light into this painting.

I love focusing on the qualities of light and reflection in portraits, I believe it brings the characters to life. I really love the idea of this cat being so brightly lit it was almost indistinguishable in places from the bright background.
