ABOUT

The interdisciplinary festival congress asks famous artists for their perception of romanticism. Is it to them still a spring of inspiration, is their art and thought processes still relevant for the contemporary artistic creating? Where do the interfaces lie and where irreversible contrasts? What does the thinking in the fragment, the breaking of perspectives, the selfreflection of the art and the exploration of their dark side mean to them? We do not ask these questions to maintain the everlasting modern age of romanticism or to expose misguided romantics. No, we wish for a radical, risky also wild interpretations of an era in which art rose to become a universal system.
