Position: UI Graphic Designer
This role involved close and regular teamwork in an Agile environment to co-ordinate and create the interactive assets, including of HUD assets. This included initial concepts sketched out by myself during brain-storming meetings, wireframe/vector visuals exported to image files and creation of house style typography and iconography. This environment included optimisation vector artwork for fast delivery through ‘Scale-Form’ and developed techniques to improve the optimised Flash experience through polygon reduction. End products were then delivered to the Asset Libraries for final compilation and implementation with presentations and approvals coming from the Microsoft games Director in USA/Canada after being developed through daily Scrum meetings Rare Studios Ltd. Ultimately, we won two gaming BAFTA’s for our work in 2012.
