I made a series of seven looping GIF animations for an online list by Bibine Barud of 'firsts' nearly all women experience in their lives.

Th animations depict a woman's first kiss, the first time media made her feel bad about her appearance, her first drink, and first time she heard gossip about herself at school, the first time she was inappropriately hit on, the first time someone told her to ‘hurry up and have kids,’ and the first time feeling empowered and comfortable on her own skin.
