ABOUT

Editorial illustration for the 15 February 2018 issue of New Statesman, for Simon Kuper's review of Amy Chua’s book ‘Political Tribes: Group Instinct And The Fate Of Nations.'

The book and article discuss why groups of people are so terrible to other groups who are different to them. I used children's game king of the castle as a visual metaphor for this zero-sum, winner-takes-all characteristic of people described.
