Piano fingers. That's what my mother used to call Me. She foretold a younger Me "Those long fingers were designed for the piano keys!" as I toddled to the kitchen and pointed directly at the chocolate, insisting, willing the sweet into my mouth. My mother was right of course (as all mothers are) I was meant to play music but not the sort that she had in mind. Words have the power to change us, they shape and create our worlds. I've swopped out the piano keys for a keyboard, my chosen sound, my chosen music, is that of words. When these sounds are magnetically strung together, a world of possibilities blooms before the reader. And lucky for you, I am in the business of world-creating.
