For years, I have wanted to start my own brand based on my father. I grew up thinking a man with a coat of fur was normal - until my friends started making comments on how hairy my dad is or how he looks like a "fokken mat" (f**king carpet). I started to video him on my instagram stories, showing my friends and followers how hilarious this old man is in his day to day. I then started calling him a gorilla - my mum actually takes credit for this, she used to always say I was the baby gorilla to him. Years of absolutely ridiculing him online and gaining a great reaction from it, I have pushed past my procrastination and started the character illustration for Gorilla. This will be printed on shirts but eventually the goal is a children's and adult book called "I think my dad is a gorilla" (copyright).
