The well-known luxury hairdressing company ghd, in Soho, were impressed with my portfolio and experience of packaging artwork so they booked me to artwork their entire Christmas range of high end hairdryer and curler boxes. The design team gave me their design files and various assets, and I was given a week to create the complicated artwork. These packs required meticulous attention to detail, various finishes, superb knowledge of print production and knowledge of how to roll out a brand look throughout the entire range. I successfully completed the project in less than a week and was asked to stay on and work on their POS items. I was re-booked by Jess, the studio manager at ghd who was extremely pleased with my work, attitude and professionalism. I have always benefited from repeat freelance bookings when studio managers have asked for me personally to come back and freelance when they’ve needed a reliable, punctual, friendly and professional artworker who has superb attention to detail, fits in with any team, is trustworthy and gets the job done meticulously.
