I was recently given an internship role to help out Crazivity Design Studios in building upon their 'Merging Inks' event held every quarters of the year. Merging Inks is a collaborative art jam that challenges illustrators and 2d artists (exc oils & spray paint) and their ability to generate and visualize ideas rapidly whilst merging with the style of other creatives. An evening in which the format of speed dating/networking meets live artistic collaboration and will result in a collection built in front of an audience, accompanied with music from a radio DJ, live band and a select number of performances.

Along with myself and another, the job was to provide an identity for Merging Inks for the upcoming event that had happened and in the future events to be held. Using the 'Multicolore' type originally designed by Ivan Filipov, the follow up was using the words of Merging Inks with that design to then create extra content and designs by breaking apart the letters itself. These designs would include T-Shirts, Website, Programmes, Animations & more. This would also allow me to create a shorter 'MI' Identity by breaking the words and shaping around the the letters again had they been filled colours themselves, allowing to create a colourful experiment. This was a month time limit from the point I was brought in.

As this was a project alongside another intern, parts of the Merging Inks setup is also credited to Intern at the time Zubair Bhatti, as well as owner of Crazivity & Merging Inks event Roxanne Williams. The event overall was a enjoyable success in regards to attraction and recognition, with a satisfied internship completed.
