Hi,

Please find attached my CV in application for the role of Freelance Middleweight Copywriter, which will give you a good overview of my career to date. I also wanted to write a few words about myself, to give you a more rounded picture.

My previous roles have included stints at a variety of creative agencies. Aside from working with brands, I've been involved in conceptual copywriting for new business pitches, agency collateral (online and offline) and brand communications projects. I can write fluid and engaging cross-platform copy, within brand guidelines and to any tone of voice. While at Pocket App I worked closely with design and UX teams on client digital (online and mobile) projects. I can write headlines, short sharp copy as well as engaging long form writing.

I currently work as a freelance content writer for Evans Cycles, Pocket App Ltd (a mobile agency) and Tower Babel (an online literature business).

I'm a daydreaming, acrylic painting, book loving, soul-searching, dark chocolate nibbling, single malt sipping, Louis CK watching, Jim Dodge reading, quiff flicking, bunny chow eating... writer.

More than anything, I'm an ideas person. I see the world askew, which leads to rich pickings for my writing. I have been fortunate enough to work on numerous brand campaigns for the likes of innocent, O2, Philips and New Look amongst others, generating ideas that resonate with both the client and their customers.
