I recently worked on a histopathology manuscript relating to Covid-19 changes in the kidney
as assessed using electron microscopy, working with Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital, Imperial
College London and University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
I was able to engage with the many concepts they needed me to illustrate, paying particular
attention to sub-cellular level organelles. The manuscript required me to produce accurate
work, with the understanding that it would need to be amended as the project developed.
