About me

I am seeking a full-time position in broadcast media, journalism or production. I am keen to utilise the Degree and Work Experience as shown in the attached CV. I returned to full-time education in 2003 (aged 28 years) and completed the Access to Higher Education Course at Cricklade College in 2004 obtaining an A grade overall. This year I graduated from The University College for the Creative Arts in Farnham with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Journalism. Throughout the three year course I learnt about all aspects of journalism, completing modules in every area from practical based assessment and industrial placements to theory such as Law and Ethics. During the course I have gained practical experience in the field on two industrial placements. One at Power FM, Fareham, Hants, and the other at CBC in Toronto, Canada. References available. I am a motivated, creative, hard working individual who thrives on a challenge and works well under pressure; I work well both in a team and alone. I always complete tasks to the best of my ability and maintain high standards. I am passionate about current affairs and radio production and always looking for innovative and exciting ways to present news and produce radio. I am extremely well organized and an efficient time keeper who never fails to work to deadline. I have a keen eye for a story and always seek the hidden truths within one.
