About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am contacting you in regards to your advertisement for junior designer; I am keen to find out more about the role.

I graduated from LCC in the summer with a 2:1 in graphic design, specialising in advertising. Currently I am running the website *.

I was then selected to run the website, including all administration, customer care, organisation of stock and photo shoots. Maintaining and updating the website with all sales promotions and stock order and replenishment. I also create all the promotional email and features for the website. This includes the artwork and copy, and ensuring all links are in place and sent out in time to the database.

I feel I have gained a lot of experience and insight with Peter Werth, but I am eager to pursue more challenging roles within design.

I have experience as a junior designer, and am undertaking freelance projects in my spare time. I noticed that freehand drawing was a preferable skill, I take life drawing classes during the winter months, and am confident with my illustrative skills.

My degree provided me with valuable experience in all areas of the design process, ranging from market research and analysis through to design processes and pitch preparation.

I am used to meeting with clients and discussing design and campaign ideas from my experiences at University and from work experience as a junior designer. I have undertaken freelance projects, and understand the importance of a strong client / design relationship. My work experience in retail has provided me with the strong customer skills to enable good working relationships with clientele.

I have a keen interest in Graphic Design, and would thoroughly relish the chance to learn more and develop in an exciting industry. I am eager to expand and develop as much as possible, and I feel this role provides excellent opportunities for this.

I have key skills in Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator. I am a fast learner, and a keen worker.
