ABOUT

Harewood House sits in the heart of Yorkshire and is one of the Treasure Houses of England. The House was built in the 18th century by architects John Carr and Robert Adam, and has one of the finest art collections in Britain.

Visitors can enjoy exhibitions of contemporary art, and there’s over 100 acres of beautiful grounds and Capability Brown gardens to explore.

I’ve worked with Harewood House on a number of exhibition projects, designing everything from identities and exhibition graphics, publications, event materials to large scale outdoor environmental graphics.

Exhibitions:

– My Beautiful Bike Ride
– Great Capabilities: Capability Brown at Harewood
– Frank Walter: Flamboyant Trees
– Victorian Harewood
– Thomas Chippendale: 300 Years
– 30 Years of Harewood Contemporary
– Craft Spotlight, Chris Day

“It has been my pleasure to have worked with Rachael on a number of occasions, including in my capacity as Exhibitions and Projects Producer at Harewood House Trust.

At Harewood we worked together on a number contemporary interpretations of exhibitions relating to historical subjects, such as Victorian Harewood, Capability Brown and Thomas Chippendale, as well as a number of exhibitions and projects with contemporary artists. Some of these were in a conventional gallery setting and other were inside and outside the house in more challenging and unusual settings (historical rooms, sheds, gardens etc).

On all occasions, Rachael presented imaginative and strong design solutions and worked hard to make sure they were realised, produced and delivered to the highest standard.”
