About me

As Graphic Design Assistant, my role is primarily to support and collaborate with the Design Manager on a variety of tasks and projects across the business. As an in-house design team, we provide a range of professional creative solutions, for both internal and external briefs, which have included; artworking, branding, editorial, marketing, packaging design, photo editing & retouching, product photography, product design & customisation, social media and web/e-commerce development & management.

One of the most exciting aspects of this role is working with major drinks brands, supermarkets & retailers. Creating artwork for custom products using existing brand assets, along with industry knowledge of a variety of print methods is both challenging and rewarding. It is always satisfying to see something you have worked on come to fruition.

Due to my educational background and skillset in photography I have, with support from my manager, been able to pitch and successfully implement an in-house photography studio. This investment has given Plastico the ability to produce the vast majority of its required product photography on site. I now lead in-house photography, and work with a monthly budget to create new content for our social media channels.
