In 2020, we were commissioned by Blue Caribou Productions to create a short animated piece for Innovate UK (UK Research and Innovation).

Innovate UK "helps UK businesses to grow through the development and commercialisation of new products, processes and services, supported by an outstanding innovation ecosystem that is agile, inclusive and easy to navigate."

The Brief
For this project, we were tasked with designing and animating a short intro and outro animation for the "Women in Innovation: Let's talk about..." webinar series.

Visual Development
We first created a series of visual concepts, using different layouts and colour schemes, and then moved on to the final designs. These final designs consisted of a simplistic gradient background and five icons representing the areas covered in the webinars.

Accessibility
We also created this layout in both 1:1 (square) and 9:16 (portrait) formats, so that they could be easily uploaded and accessible on different social media platforms like Instagram.

The animated intro/outro defines the brand and organisation at the event’s start and end, helping retain viewer engagement and adding consistency across multiple videos in the same series.
