Collaborating with Blue Caribou Productions, we animated scenes for KTN, visualising railway problems and solutions within the UK.

The animation was separated into three scenes to complement video recordings, covering rail safety, sustainability and passenger experience. With KTN's aim to create a more engaging experience for viewers, animation provided clear visuals for more information-heavy segments while adding variety to the video’s edit.

The design of the world is clean and vibrant in keeping with the feel of KTN's style and colour palette. With each scene being short in duration, every element had to be immediately recognisable for the viewer. Simplified colourful shapes act as silhouettes for buildings and hills whereas more details were added to the key elements such as trains, props and control screens. Characters were composed using simple block colour shapes with overlaying outlines representing clothes, arms and heads
