Word Travel: Mystery Crossword Story is a narrative-driven mobile word puzzle game developed in collaboration with an experienced partner, Poyee Mobile, in 2021.

The game combines crossword mechanics with story progression, guiding players through mystery-themed temple environments across nine countries. Players unlock chapters by solving increasingly complex word puzzles, blending vocabulary challenges with adventure storytelling.

Within this project, I contributed to the creative development, visual direction, UI elements, and in-game visual assets, working closely with my partner on structure and gameplay flow. The project required balancing educational value with engaging progression mechanics, ensuring puzzles scaled in difficulty while maintaining narrative momentum.

This collaboration strengthened my experience in mobile game pipelines, user experience considerations, and designing systems that merge learning with entertainment.
