This illustration of Prague is a personal and visual tribute to the city’s rich historical and cultural heritage, as I lived there for a short period years ago. Every corner of the work is filled with details referencing its past: the iconic astronomical clock, nods to the art of Alphonse Mucha, literary references like Gregor Samsa, and historical figures who shaped its destiny, from the resistance leaders who executed Reinhard Heydrich to Rabbi Lowe and his legendary Golem. More recent moments, such as the 1968 Soviet invasion, are also incorporated, along with various cultural and symbolic elements that invite viewers to explore the city closely and uncover its complexity and depth.
