Meals on Wheels Diablo Region (MOW Diablo) goes beyond just delivering food to fight senior hunger. This non-profit helps nearly 10,000 older adults in Contra Costa County age gracefully by providing companionship, fall prevention tips, exercise programs, and even guidance on aging. Like most non-profits, they rely on donations to keep going.

Propelo Media helped MOW Diablo raise funds by creating a targeted list of potential donors in the East Bay. These folks were likely to give because they were:

Over 40 years old
Made a good living (over $60,000)
Shared similar characteristics with past donors who donated
MOW Diablo ran a special fundraising campaign around the holidays to capitalize on people's generosity. They sent personalized letters with easy ways to donate, along with information about how donations make a difference. They also sent a series of emails and used online ads to reach potential donors wherever they were online. Social media was part of the mix too.
