Alexi Lubomirski is a renowned fashion and celebrity photographer. Propeller collaborated with Alexi to create distinct branding and a more robust digital presence. We launched a website that not only featured Alexi Lubomirski’s portfolio, but provided a deeper dive into the photographer’s studio, ethos, and altruistic sphere.

Propeller was presented with the challenge of building a seamless user experience for viewing the dozens and dozens of photo shoots that comprise Alexi’s portfolio. Further, we took a creative approach to presenting the wide range of projects Alexi has curated, while exemplifying his values and encouraging visitors to contact the studio for collaborations and bookings.

Our solution involved building a custom solution on WordPress, an ideal solution for a lifestyle brand and one that would be able to grow with Alexi and his expanding portfolio. We focused on a clean, sophisticated design that appealed to both fashion industry giants and inspired followers. By building a range of functionalities that were both practical and image-driven we created an experience that truly showcased the images as they would be in a gallery.

Propeller delivered a customized website that took users on a storified journey through Alexi’s work and perspective. Tailored regions allowed for a variety of editorial and social content, encouraging engagement across all channels.

Traffic increased by 300% in first 30 days.
Sessions increased by 407%, and page views by 401% in the fourth quarter of 2017, compared to the previous year.
Session duration increased by 44% in the fourth quarter of 2017, compared to the previous year.
