About me

Having recently completed a degree as a mature student with first class honours, I am now looking for a career which will provide a new challenge while allowing me to develop my existing skills and interests. With a career history divided between the music industry and the public sector I have developed excellent communication and organisational skills which I have learnt to adapt to suit contrasting environments. I am good with people, ideas and information alike and am seeking a move away from a purely administrative role where I will be able to adopt a more developmental approach to work. I am extremely self motivated with numerous interests, most notably writing and music.

I write a lot, from blogging to creative writing and, having specialised in sociolinguistics during my recent undergraduate studies, I am passionate about communication, and the role of audience design in writing. I understand that I do not have extensive experience of copywriting in a work environment and that this sets me at a disadvantage. However, I have excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of the workings of social media and am extremely keen to put these skills to use.
