About me

As you can see by my CV, I have my training in interior Design. Through University and employment, I have used four different CAD packages. I am very fluent in Auto Cad as well as Microsoft word and excel. I also have a background in retail and customer services.

Originally from California, I studied interior design at the University of California, Chico. There, my courses ranged from kitchen and bathroom design and space planning to the history of early and modern interiors and furniture. In my last year I became the treasurer for the American Society of Interior Design club on my campus.

After University, I got a job straight away for as an Interior Designer for a small company in California. I created the working drawings for large commercial offices. I did field measurements, space planning, finishes consultations and submitted drawings for permits from planning permission. That same year, I married a British citizen, and last year, moved to England permanently.

After I moved to England I got a job as a Designer/Space planner for a large office furniture company. I did the space plans, quotes, designs and presentation boards for corporate and commercial offices in Europe. I began planning and quoting for the largest account of the previous year after only being with the company for a month.
