About me

Please find attached my curriculum vitae for your consideration in respect of the role of Design Assistant. I believe that my design skills reinforced though my independent design projects, qualifications and previous customer facing commercial experience in project based roles enables me to contribute a unique and varied combination of skills to this role.

Since my graduation last year in Spatial Design, I have focused my attention on a variety of design projects including managing the refurbishment of a post and beam constructed house, that has enabled me to gain valuable experience in the operation and sequence of an interior design project. In addition I have undertaken projects including business rebranding and garden landscaping.

During my degree I undertook an internship with designer, Concetta Gallo, where I assisted her in developing and sourcing materials for a new range of home interior goods and exhibiting them in London at “YSH London 10” in 2009.

Prior to undertaking my Spatial Design degree I was employed in corporate training management where I gained extensive experience in business and customer communications, budget management, project management and working to tight deadlines. Furthermore I have very strong IT skills and have extensive experience of designing and delivering strategic level presentations to leaders of major organisations.
