Independent IT Consultant and Entrepreneur. Passionate about the web and the innovations and business opportunities that it can create. Extensive experience scoping, defining and delivering IT projects in the private and public sectors including financial services, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, education, local government, central government, SME, blue chip and media organisations.
Entrepreneurial, with a number of business ventures under my belt. In parallel to interim and permanent roles I have launched an innovative product for the Outdoor and Travel markets as well as running a sports and fitness e-commerce business through which I have built up extensive marketing, communications and product development experience from the ground up and a proven ability to drive rapid growth through social networking and search engine marketing techniques.
Skilled at forging and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, customers, clients, suppliers and partners with the ability to create, manage and motivates teams. Recently had a chance to build the Internet strategy for Europe's largest specialist auctioneers of classic cars, incorporating their corporate website, online auctions, live internet auctions, social media and invite only private auctions, from functional and technical specifications of the websites, to e-marketing and e-PR strategies. I continue to provide strategic input and consultancy to H&H Auctions.
