Dear Sirs,
I think I am suitable for this role because my professional experience combines a wealth of journalistic practice from many years of working in print and online publishing (especially customer publishing) with solid knowledge from my Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism Studies from the University of Westminster. I have worked for a local newspaper in Germany and was a German and sub-editor for Haymarket Publishing in London for almost ten years working on accounts like Jaguar, Chrysler&Jeep, Toyota and BMW.
I am bi-lingual as I was brought up in Germany by an English mother and a German father, which gives me particular insight into the British language and culture. As you can see from attached samples of my work Ihave a wealth of experience of writing and subbing English articles. I have also been working for German and British media for more than 15 years now and as my stories for the German website Stern show I have a keen interest in celebrity culture.
Overall I think that my life and work experience make me a prime candidate for this exciting role.
