About me

Recently graduated with a 2:1 in Interior Architecture & Design at Leeds College of Art I am very passionate about new design innovations, and have great enthusiasm towards creativity and outside of the box thinking. I have great passion for design and I am looking for firsthand experience. I am a friendly out going individual with an appetite for exploring both the world and design boundaries. From September 2009 to December 2009 I took part in the Erasmus scheme and studied in the Katholieke Hogeschool, Mechelen, Belgium for 4 months, whilst there I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the country and I learnt and experienced many new things along the way. I learnt both on a professional/ academic level and also developed on a personal level. Due to living there for 4 months accompanied by "survival dutch" language lessons, I now have a small understanding of the language and hope to further this.
Although Interior Design is primarily my main interest, I also have shared interests varying from Urban design and landscape to furniture design. I believe myself to be a versatile designer, with the ability to appreciate many subjects and genres. Both through the nature of my course encouraging group work and the experience of working amongst many nationalities on the Erasmus scheme, I feel this has lead me to have both good communication skills and I am able to work well within a team.
