'The Lanson Decemberary' is a self-initiated idea that sprung from a personal situation; that at this time of year, if it's your birthday (not mine, btw), the day can get a bit lost in the melee leading up to Christmas and into the New Year. And sometimes these experiences are too good an opportunity to miss (working out as a design exercise).
Apologies to Lanson for the unauthorised use of their identity (I hope you don't mind too much)...
This is gist of the idea:
"Here’s the thing.
Between the beginning of December and the beginning of January, there’s certainly no lack of excuses for a celebration.
But what if the most wonderful time of the year also happens to be close to your special day?
We thought that perhaps it was time to make a little space for the babies born in the thick of this season.
The time we’ve called ‘Decemberary’ and with a special edition Lanson Champagne, dedicated just to them.
So why not make a Holly or Ivan’s Decemberary with Lanson?"
Activation would be via Decemberary special edition packaging, only available during December and January and only mail-order - via a validation of the recipients' date of birth - and with integrated social via an #Decemberary Instagram.
