Working for Colour Systems was a big turning point in my career, starting as a Mac operator, Mainly working on magazines which involved planning pages in Quark. Allot of pages were made up in photoshop using layers as the pages used shadows and montaging, colour converting and retouching were daily tasks. After 4 months working on Magazines such as Arena, Heat, Closer, New Woman, FHM and many more, my retouching skills were noticed and was promoted to head retoucher for FHM magazine this involved working close with the FHM art

editors/directors. All the high end retouching and planning of the front cover was my responsibility. Working on the front cover involved the use of spot colours and trapping. The retouching on the front cover was very precise and was only done by myself. I also retouch covers for magazines such as Grazia, New Woman, Elle, Red, Heat and Zoo magazine. Retouching and front covers was my priority line of work, I-ve retouched all 100 high street honeys, 100 sexist and 2006 calender used in FHM as well as all the main cover features. From my unique skills in photoshop I-ve been praised many times by magazine editors and art directors. Colour systems has a quick turn around and I was always flexible to work late and on weekends. All magazine pages here are now made up using In-Design which is used on the OSX system. I-m fluent in OSX and can use Brisque operating systems and Pc
