About me

My name is Rickardo and I have achieved a BA honors degree in
Graphic and Media Design at the London College of Communication (LCC) I
have three years industrial experience including time at GQ, Touch,
Pride and Garageland Magazines. More recently I have helped produce an
online music magazine called musicology, which focuses on
popular/current artists from a number of genres.

I am a competent Mac and PC user, and specialise in Indesign,
QuarkXpress, Photoshop and Illustrator. I am also a trained bookbinder.
My Recent work background is in the design/ sales sector primarily
kitchen design. The key skills I've learnt from this role are the key
skills required to be successful in the design world: Good
communication skills, knowing your tools, having the ability to design
a piece to a clients requirements and most importantly being able to
finalise and sell that design.

I love music, and design, as you'll see from some of my recent work.
I try to marry the two. A good design has great balance and
individuality like any good song. In my spare time I still like to
design CD covers, flyers and posters for local artists
