About me

I'm a Psychology BSc graduate, expecting 2:1 to 1st, results published 27/06/06. I have worked within in new media, events management, publishing and marketing fields part-time over the past 5 years and I am keen to continue this trend. I am targeting an entry-level account executive role, ideally working with exciting brands as I have done in the past. I am interested in all forms of marketing and I am passionate about brand. My IT skills are highly developed, and my deficits are quickly over-come as I am a fast learner of new applications, protocols and systems. My degree has facilitated my development as a critical analytical thinker, versatile with statistical techniques, analysis and presentation in a research setting. The degree taught me to write succinct clear reports. I do have mild dyslexia, but I do not consider this an obstacle unless required to complete handwritten exercises. It is something easily overcome with the aid of a word processor and means that I am extra vigilant and have adopted a wide compensatory vocabulary. My knowledge of psychology could be an insightful asset as it's highly applicable to marketing. Ideally I would like to work in a supportive creative environment where I can develop into an essential member of the team.
