A creative, hardworking and well motivated journalist and copywriter, with a range of industry experience and a degree in Journalism.
I have a host of media and writing experience, I am currently making regular freelance contributions to a nationally distributed consumer magazine and I waspreviously employed as the staff writer for a widely distributed North East based regional culture magazine.
I also regularly contribute to a number of music webzines.

Capable of writing copy for a range of applications, including magazine features, news pieces and internal communications to strict deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work. Good phone manner and interview technique developed by previous work experience in a number of newspaper and magazine offices of varying sizes. 2005 2008: Lancaster University: 2.2 BA (Hons) Journalism Degree. Modules included magazine production, including the use of Quark, Web Journalism and Newspaper Journalism, frequently including both group and individual practical projects. NCTJ 60WPM Teeline Shorthand 1998 2005: Kings School Tynemouth: OCR Level 1 (CLAIT) IT Qualification Three A Levels including a B grade in English Language and Literature. 8 GCSEs from grade A-C including Maths and English, with A grades in both English Language and English Literature.
