About me
My ideal is to work in a people organization with a professional yet
vibrant atmosphere. I am gregarious and hopefully blessed with a great
sense of humour. Customer contact is something I relish, having been in
that situation for the past few years at work. I am interested in a
great many things as throughout life my brain has been a willing
sponge, soaking up an inordinate amount of information; this has been
helped by living through the evolution of the internet and other modern
communications, which I learnt much about when studying the media at
school. I made it hard for myself academically by spending many hours
in the theatre perfecting what would became professional level
productions but this helped me to deal with deadlines and organising
myself to complete many tasks at the same time. My travels around the
world and the many people I have met at work have created a
well-rounded view of the world and I believe a fascinating insight into
humanity. Literature will always be a great love of mine and I enjoy
getting underneath what most people read or hear or see in anything
like that. I have trawled through libraries to find all the allusions
in “Ulysses”, fiddled with my equalizer to hear something
new on a Beatles record and looked for all the shapes I have not seen
before in a Monet.
