I am looking for a position as a proofreader or Mac Operator. As you
can see from my CV I am fully conversant with both Apple Mac and PC
computers, having spent many years using Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop,
In Design, Acrobat etc. Virtually every job that I have been involved
in has included the responsibility of proofreading to a high degree and
I pride myself on being meticulous and accurate with attention to style
issues, detail, visual spacing and all aspects of aesthetic appearance
of the printed page. Because my print background stems back to an
apprenticeship as a hot metal compositor I take great pride in
upholding the traditions and standards of the print trade and still get
a kick out of seeing a printed document or publication which has been
produced professionally.
