About me

I have recently graduated with a degree in Journalism, during the
course of which I specialised in online journalism and public
relations. I have excellent writing skills, and, as part of my degree
held an editorial role in a university news website which involved me
creating online content and carrying out site maintenance on a regular
basis. I also currently write for a fashion blog.
I also completed a work placement at Manchester PR company Trimedia,
where my duties included generating press releases, constructing
information packages and FAQ documents, researching for proposals and
campaigns, and corresponding with clients and media.
I have excellent communication skills, and have proven myself able
to build and maintain important relationships and successful
correspondence with valuable contacts. I am able to assert my ideas
both verbally and non-verbally to others with confidence, and am well
practiced in adapting information to suit a particular audience. I have
experience with and am comfortable presenting to both large and small
groups, as well as with working within and leading teams of varying
sizes. I have developed organisational and time management skills which
allow me to perform under pressure and keep to tight deadlines.
