About me

Interaction Designer and Creative Technologist working at the
intersections of mobile networked media, interactive architectural
interfaces, dynamic branding and new media tool development.
Currently completing MRes in Digital Media at Culture Lab Newcastle
University. Also teaching in the Digital Media Dept. for maters
level students, and consultant to the Interactive Space Design module
in the school of Architecture.
Design approach is as Generalist, competent designing solutions for
interactive products, experiences or services, whilst grounding output
in strong background of academic practice-based research, through
rigorous experimental design.
Experimental and risk-taking, confident to push new technologies and
latest developments into projects. Culturally embedded with
community of new media designers and developers - able to stay very
current with advances.
Working as freelance multi-platform designer / developer on small
and large scale new media art and design projects, able to conceive of
and create bespoke technical design solutions for commercial and
industrial requirements - from mobile media to interactive projection
to web and interactive telecommunications.
Experienced and best working in groups, steering and as creative
lead, generating and conveying ideas, focusing on deliverables and
maintaining strong process.
