Supporting Statement for Malcolm
Brown,

Having been a creative working in London for 30 years as a Graphic
Designer/Art Director with a Copywriter, I have had experience
of using Apple Mac computers and their software eg Adobe Creative Suite
which I used on a day to day basis to work up creative concepts for
client presentations. I have been involved in marketing clients,
promoting their company and designing their corporate identity and
brand guidelines from in house brochures to TV promotion Campaigns

I gained
my Degree in Art and Design on a 4 year full time Graphic Design course
at Great Yarmouth College of Art and Design ().

I am able to work independently,
demonstrated by my freelance work, where I successfully attracted
clients and took projects to completion. In my time working as an Art
Director, I had to work as part of a team, and would describe myself as
a team player. In having to sell creative concepts to clients, I have
excellent presenting skills.

Outside
of work, I have enjoyed teaching Photography to adults (black and white
conventional and digital) also being the official photographer for
Spotlight, a young people's theatre group. I have also been promotional
photographer for a local band, Split Whiskers. My other interests
include visiting art galleries and museums, computing and
mechanics.
