About me

I studied English at degree level which included creative writing during my second year and I went on to do my dissertation as a creative writing piece. During my first year of university I also edited and wrote for an underground magazine which included reviews and articles of interest. I have experience with proofreading for a small teaching company which I did freelance and I have also written teaching material.

I possess excellent communication skills which I have used in a variety of settings. I am a good listener and use this skill to anticipate and respond well to the requirements of others. I am non-judgemental and have a friendly and approachable manner which aids me with my skills in diplomacy and tact. Through previous work experience I am able to work both as part of a team and also on my own initiative and enjoy the challenge of problem solving through a creative and innovative manner. I am a fast and enthusiastic learner, and I find that my positive attitude tends to influence the people around me. Through my experiences of University life and my own home life I am extremely well organised, and self motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
