Hello there,I have recently finished a PhD in Postcolonial, Francophone and Translation Studies at a British University and was briefly employed as a QA and Copywriter Assistant at a leading law firm. Prior to this, I completed a 11-month stint as the Business Development Coordinator for a legal publishing company in London. I am currently looking for both freelance work as a proofreader and French translator, as well as suitable full-time positions. My experience is mainly in an academic environment, and I believe I have a number of transferable skills that are crucial to many sectors. I have been an exceptional Business Development Coordinator and am a very good communicator. I am also multilingual, efficient, a qualified proofreader, translator, and business interpreter, and a team player. My detailed CV elaborates on these points. On the social front, I am fond of children and have recently started volunteering for a children's charity. I sponsor 4 children and also contribute to UNICEF. The Home Office has issued me with a Tier 1 Work Permit, which allows me to live and work in the UK, without needing a sponsor.
