About me
I was born in London because my father was doing his postgraduate studies here. When I was 2, I moved with my family back to Venezuela, where I studied Law. After studying and practicing law, I realized it wasn't for me. I moved to London in the year 2000 to improve and perfect my English, and then I decided to move to NY to study Media, Film, and the creative industry. Before start studying my master in Media, I did a certificate in PR. I was working as Production Manager for an independent film production company in New York City until recently when I decided that I wanted to come to London again.
I gained relevant experience during my time working in NY. I had the chance to learn all the aspects of organizing, developing, producing, post-producing and delivering a film project, and I was responsible for the supervising, coordination and execution of all production work processes performed for Esperanto (my former employer) and Sonja Productions (my later employer) in Latin America, Mexico and NYC, by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of film production and post-production methodology, public relations, as well as my law background. Apart from my formal studies, I have taken classes in photography, art history and media management. Also, the fact that I hold a dual nationality, British and Venezuelan has given me the opportunity of seeing the world from a wider perspective, and my studies and work in NY for the past 5 years, has enriched my profession and my culture.
