For a while, I was a Northerner trapped in a small sleepy village in rural Suffolk. With aspirations bigger than the next village hall refurbishment, I had to escape. After surviving a train fire in Thailand and a skydive at ft, I eventually proceeded to university in Nottingham. Soon to spend my next three years living in what is apparently, the gun crime capital of the UK; I soon realised that trying to escape challenging environments is not the way to ensure success. Success means knowing how to deal with change and where you place yourself in it.

Although in the past few years I have avoided being shot and gained some invaluable experiences, I am still yearning to further face challenge. To describe myself in one word, I am a cactus. I have insight, intuition and adaptability. Not only am I able to survive and thrive in the environment that I have found myself in, but I also have the willingness to evolve and progress. Having grown up embracing rapid technological change, I am not afraid to deliberately challenge existing norms. I hope you can see that I am a strategic thinker and an intelligent communicator.

My time travelling and at university has provided me with a strong and diverse cultural awareness. Having used Mintel, Keynote and WGSN extensively throughout my degree, I am accustomed in using retail intelligence strategy to research and identify trends and opportunities. I have the ability to apply commercial knowledge to briefs and understand the target audience.

Everyone knows that everything everywhere is in the mist of reinvention. Technology has interrupted the status quo of many industries, not to mention its societal implications. As a curious individual, I appreciate companies who are constantly adapting their business practices to embrace these changes because these boundaries are endless. I am excited as to where these positively digital eventualities will lead. Furthermore, I wish to be part of a company culture that stands to keep both their existing audience and their steady revenue.
