About me
I have combined a steadily increasing experience and passion for new media and social media alongside office, project and admin management. I have expanded my social media management experience in my current role at London Business School, utilising Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and I am currently setting up a YouTube channel. I am also investigating the potential of Quora and flavors.me.
In combination with this I am also highly experienced in HTML email creation and management, including campaign scheduling. I fully understand the importance of ensuring there is close collaboration between web services and all other departments within an organization (particularly marketing and communications) as the web is increasingly the public's first point of contact.
I am experienced in copywriting, having contributed to the film and entertainment website WhatCulture.com (formerly Obsessed With Film) since August 2008 with a series of reviews, interviews and articles. Film is my primary interest, in particular production, and I have had wide exposure to it through my writing activities (including script doctoring), industry contacts, and being married to a successful SFX makeup artist.
I am equally comfortable working on my own or within a team and always have the objectives of the team/department/organisation as a whole at the forefront, which means getting involved at whatever level and wherever I'm needed. I am detail oriented but can always see the wider picture. I also have experience in representing my employers to other organisations and to both external and internal stakeholders.
My desire is to always work for organisations that foster staff development and innovation.
