John Degenkolb photographed in Berlin for a cover and lead feature for Pro Cycling. At least that was the plan. Two weeks after the portraits were made John and five other Team Giant-Alpecin were involved in a head-on collision while training in Spain. Understandably the feature was put on hold and, thankfully, all six riders made a full recovery.
