About me
I am a recent graduate from the University of Exeter, having achieved a first class degree in English and Spanish.
Having done a number of unpaid placements over the last two years, I feel that I am ready to undertake something more permanent within the publishing industry or within photography. I have recently completed a three-month editorial internship in the office of Black Dog Publishing, I also did a short work experience placement in the London office of Time Out magazine, and am currently working alongside the editor as part of an internship with Eye magazine, the international review of graphic design. Whilst immersed in the editing department of all three publications and publishing houses, each internship has been invaluable in teaching me different areas of the publishing process. From a weekly listings magazine to a quarterly collector's edition publication I have learnt much about the industry.
I am also a keen photographer and am very interested in visual arts. Aside from photography, my many interests include learning new languages, playing the piano and travelling. Apart from ensuring my fluency in the Spanish language, my year living in Mexico also taught me independence and how to adapt to sometimes challenging environments. I am now looking for an equally challenging and rewarding experience in the world of work.
